This is my suggested quick leveling guide from levels 1 - 81. If you intend on following the quest line, this will not take you there.

If you are a new player, I suggest buying a beginner's equipment box from the Cash Shop because this is the equivalent of a level 50 set. It is great for beginners and will be good enough to get you through level 60, possibly 70.

The way you level depends on your playing style, how much time you spend each day, and which class you are. But any class can easily reach level 80 within three months if they are put forth the effort.

Basic Information[]

A few things you should know before you begin grinding out those first few levels.

  • The color of a mob's name tells you whether they are above, at, or below your level. In order they are: grey, blue, yellow, orange, and purple being the most difficult.
  • Orange named mobs give the best experience.
  • Aggressive mobs are the best for AoE classes.
  • Ranged mobs are a waste of time in my opinion because they cast their skills from a distance and are therefore difficult to kill in groups.
  • The best leveling techniques involve all forms of leveling: grinding, questing, dailies, and arenas so do not ignore one and expect the quickest results.
  • Open the beginner's boxes and use the experience marks given to you.

1st Milestone - Level 21[]

The first milestone is level 21 because that is when you can began Aitan Training Center (aka ATC) and really begin moving through levels.

  • Complete the Makin' Bacon quest line completing all quests until you recieve your 2nd Inventory Bag.
  • Use the map search feature to find and kill ORANGE mobs. In my experience, I've killed in this order:
    • Mutated Boar, Munta Kubari, Turic Kubari, Conniving Storks, Bloody-Winged Storks, Yao Kubary, Cannibal Boar, Noyao Kubary, Soyao Kubary/Lurking Nerine
  • At level 16, you must complete 1 quest for Major Krauss to open Kiki's quest line. Now complete all of the regular, non-dungeon quests Kiki gives including all of the Boring Errand quests to recieve your 3rd Inventory Bag. Do not click "Return to Kiki" when the quest option appears.
  • When Lurking Nerine become yellow, you may either kill mobs in this area for another few levels or go to Celestine Caverns.
  • In Celestine Caverns, you will go to Marauder Cabin normal and kill the 1st half of this dungeon (until the center wall ends) and leave the dungeon to repeat this until you reach level 21. The 2nd half is difficult to complete and requires more time.

Now that you are level 21, you must begin ATC if you wish to level as quickly as possible. For each ATC completed, you will recieve a certificate that awards 100% of your current level's experience.

From level 1-21 and both inventory bags, it should take approximately 2 hours for a well-geared player and 6-hours for the poorly geared.

2nd Milestone - Level 50[]

At level 50, you must complete the Level 50 Promotion quest line or else you will not reach level 51. Therefore, even if you use an ATC experience certificate, you will still be level 50.

  • Click the link above and complete these quests. You should have enough gold from selling materials and equipment to complete this task.
  • Use an ATC experience ticket to finish the 100% experience quest.

After you have reached level 51, you continue with ATCs hourly as you have been. You will also need to grind in between those arenas to get the most experience as possible.

  • Begin grinding Mutated Cannibal Plant until you are level 56.
    • There are 2 good places to do this. I suggest next to Lake Kisia for solo grinding. There are 2 plants, one on each side. If you are a ranged class, you can kill each of these with minimal interference from other mobs. If you are melee, kill the mobs surrounding the mutants 1st.
  • At level 56, begin grinding Mutated Angler. These are the best because there are several places with almost no interference from other mobs. One has 2 anglers straight to the right of the Shrine of the High Castor (if you are leaving the Shrine) and the other is a 3-angler place to the south of the Shrine.
  • At level 59, you should begin grinding Mutated Flame Croshu. There are several good places; however, there are no places with absolutely no mobs near-by.
    • My favorite spot was a 3-croshu place west of Ashwood post next on the far side of a large crater. There are 2 croshu along the border and 1 in the center you can pull to the edge of the crater. If you pull the center croshu to the edge, you avoid the other mobs and can kill 2 at one time, then go kill 3rd.

3rd Milestone - Level 60[]

This is a useful tip, not required, but very useful. At level 60, the experience required to get 100% is more than you need for level 61. So if you use a level 51-60 ATC experience ticket when you are level 60 with 95% experience, you will skip level 61 and be level 62 with around 30%. Meaning you skipped an entire level worth of experience. I suggest using Talents to get as close a possible without going over 99%.

Above is why I consider this a milestone, otherwise... proceed as you have been.

Basillica Giovannis quests give a lot of experience for their level. If you like doing quests, you should do as many of these as you can. Do not attempt any quests that involve power penzas or verits (not mutated, regular ones). These two mobs are insanely difficult for this level.

Grinding

  • At level 65, begin grinding Mutated Power Penza found around Sacred Place. These are easier than Mutated Verits because the mobs around these are not as troublesome.
    • If you have issues soloing MPPs, you can AoE smaller mobs on this map and gain as much or more experience depending on how long it takes to kill 1 MPP. Just make sure you are killing orange mobs as much as possible. Now is also a good time to do Guild quests for your guild!
