Dual Gunners are a rapid damage dealing class with the ability to stealth through out the battlefield.

Strengths:

  • Strong multi-strike attacks
  • AoEs and several disabling debuffs
  • Stealth abilities
  • Fast move speed and high dodge

Weaknesses:

  • Low defenses & HP
  • MP intensive
  • Requires constant ammo supply

Primary Attributes:

  • Crit Rate, Hit Rate, & Dodge Rate

Starting Info[]

When you first begin you start out with the following stats:
Bolded Stats indicate Primary and Secondary Attributes.

  • Strength: 8
  • Dexterity: 14
  • Intelligence: 10
  • Constitution: 12
  • Spirit: 6

Prior to the promotion to Pistoleer, you will not be able to change these. You can however buy equipment, soups, and potions that give you increased stats while they are in use.

After the Pistoleer promotion, you will receive X stat points + 2 stat points for every level past level 50. These must be allocated manually via the "Character Info" screen.

Common Stat Builds:

  • Full Dexterity
    • Ranged P.Att: 1 point = 2.6 ranged p.att
      • Increases damage for ranged classes (Dual Gunners & Riflemen)
    • Critical Rate: 1 point = 0.1 crit rate
      • Increases the number of critical attacks
    • Hit Rate: 1 point = 0.15 hit rate
      • Decreases the number of "missed" attacks
    • Dodge Rate: 1 point = 0.1 dodge
      • Improves your chances of evading an physical attack (do not confuse this with abnormal status resist which evades status changing attacks such as stun, root, slow, and sleep)

Dual Gunners typically place all of their stat points into Dexterity to increase ranged physical attack, critical rate, hit rate, and dodge rate.

If you have placed stat points into undesired stats, you may purchases a Rebirth from the Cash Shop to reset your Stat Points. A cheaper option is to place enchantments on equipment, accessories, mounts, and Pran clothing to offset the poorly placed stats.

Pran[]

Every class has a preference for certain Prantypes because of the complimentary buffs the Pran provides them. Dual Gunners typically prefer Fire and Air Pran. Fire Pran:

  • Increases Attack, Increase Crit Rate, Increases Maximum HP

Air Pran:

  • Increases Dodge Rate, Increases Maximum HP/MP, and HP/MP recovery

Mount[]

Each class also gets their very own type of Mount. The Dual Gunner's is called a Orion, which is a type of hover vehicle. You can also buy a Pearl Pena or Porrima from the Cash Shop.

One free mount comes from a quest at level 40 in Cirrugor from Sir Ruffington. Any other mounts must be purchased. These mounts can be enchanted the same as other equipment to add enhancements to your Dual Gunner's stats via the same NPC in Cirrugor.

Equipment[]

The Dual Gunners wear leather Armor and uses a two pistols for weapons. As you level, more equipment options become available to you, but these two things do not change.

There are three types of equipment:

  • Normal
  • Unique
  • Superior

Unique equipment usually comes in sets that give bonus stat improvements if you possess 2, 3, 4, or 5 of the set pieces. These are generally the most desired because you get enhancements from the 1 piece of equipment as well as another from having multiple pieces.

Superior equipment is the next best. This equipment has the improved basic stats of the Normal counterpart, as well as an additional bonus. But these do not have a set bonus, with the exception of Truth Seeker equipment.

Normal equipment is the least desired and generally shouldn't be reinforced or enchanted because you will be improving an inferior quality item. They have lessened stats and no bonus effects. If this is all you can get, use it until you are able to obtain a Superior or Unique item.

Skills []

Dual Gunners have a wide variety of debuffs and DoTs at their disposal. They also have steath abilities and insane speed and dodge rate which means if someone manages to attack them, they are able to debuff the enemy and kill them or get away with no problems.

Different Dual Gunners prefer different Skill builds so there is no universal build. You should max all of the skills at some point, try them out, and see which works best for you. You can always reskill (for a small amount of gold) at the Skill Instructors when you find your ideal levels.

There is also a skill builder located on the Wiki Home Page.
